A Slice of Kent

For many years I have wanted to publish a book showcasing Kent produce from some of the best chefs and cooks in Kent. I am a Kentish man and spent many years as the Sommelier at Reads Restaurant in Faversham, and was part of the team when it was awarded a Michelin Star. Whilst there I fondly remember afternoons collecting local asparagus or wandering around the substantial kitchen garden seeing what was coming into season. It was hard work, but we were connected to the food.

I feel that now is the time for this book, a time to share what is so special about Kent and it’s finest producers. I hope you feel the same.

What Will the Book Contain?

This is a celebration of the food of Kent and designed for you – the foodie who wants to use more local ingredients in their meals. It is a passion project which we hope will be an annual publication. But we need your help – become part of our foodie community by pre-ordering the book and liking our Facebook page and joining our Facebook group to join in the conversation.
